Initially drawn to the company’s values and ethos and to the role of Client Services and Business Support Executive, Sarah joined Collingwood in January 2019, where she enjoyed working alongside the consultants and delighting our clients.
She has recently moved into the role of Operations Manager, where she will continue to develop our processes and procedures and drive continuous improvement, enabling us to service our clients in the best possible way, whilst also supporting our consultants to manage their workloads and maximise their time.
Throughout my career I have built upon my customer service skills and experience in varying fields, from a financial background, to onboard an aircraft, to a luxury travel company. I thrive on providing exceptional customer service and support, knowing that what I am doing is making a difference.
Outside of work
I thoroughly enjoyed the travelling side of my previous roles and still like to travel as much as possible, one of my all-time favourite destinations being Koh Samui, Thailand. I enjoy spending time with my family, I like acting – I am about to restart acting classes, and I love to read crime fiction, or factual books on World War 2.
Last year I completed an ILM Leadership Management Level 3 Certificate and also PRINCE2, Project Management, which I found really beneficial in preparing me for my new role.
What do you like most about your job?
I am a very social person so enjoy interacting with people. I enjoy providing client satisfaction and the challenge of trying to make continuous improvements to the way we work at Collingwood.
Favourite Food: I love Italian especially Pizza, I also enjoy Thai food.
Favourite Music: Quite a mix - Oasis, Stone Roses, Artic Monkeys, The Smiths and many more. I also enjoy some pop music too.
