Our client is part of a US based world-wide corporation with a turnover of $19.8 billion and 7,900 employees. The company is the largest UK trade-only distributor of IT products and services.
Objective
Due to internal promotion our client required a high potential individual with relevant distribution experience in a high volume warehousing environment. Key to the role was a strong motivator and manager of people.
Method
Our consultant combined headhunting into similar companies throughout the UK with internet advertising. All selected underwent a thorough competency based interview and behaviour profiling.
Result
A shortlist of 4 candidates was presented and interviewed by the client within of 4 weeks of undertaking the assignment; 2 were final interviewed and 1 successful candidate selected for the role.
