Our client is the UK subsidiary of a $2 billion global company renowned for innovative ophthalmic products, both surgical and consumer.

Objective
The brief was to recruit a National Sales Manager who could progress to Sales and Marketing Director inside 18 months.

Method
Armed with an in-depth knowledge of the industry, the reporting sales team and the culture of the client, our consultant used Advertising Led Selection to recruit this role. A creative advert in a national newspaper generated a high quality response.  Selected candidates were assessed via competency based interviews.

Result
A shortlist of 5 candidates delivered, a successful appointment and the individual was promoted as per the plan.
