Our client is a global $2 billion US Corporation and a market leading manufacturer of cable and connectivity products for the Industrial Automation, Professional Broadcast, Building Services and Telecoms markets. Having embarked upon the introduction a totally new sales and marketing philosophy, Collingwood was retained to recruit a Business Development Manager for Scandinavia.
Objective
The brief was to recruit a Business Development Manager to drive new sales growth within the Industrial Automation market in Scandinavia. Candidates had to be based in Sweden and have a proven record of new business development selling industrial automation products and solutions to the automotive, aerospace, food or pharmaceutical industries.
Method
Collingwood combined media advertising with direct Headhunting to recruit this position. We face to face, competency interviewed long listed candidates in Stockholm before presenting a shortlist to our client within 5 weeks.
Result
A candidate was recruited who exactly matched the specified brief.
