Our client is a $2 billion subsidiary of a renowned global $24 billion US Corporation. The division develop and manufacture a range of market leading car care consumer products which are sold through major multiple retailers around the world, these include Halfords, Tesco, Carrefour and Auchan. Having re-located the European R&D team to the UK, Collingwood was asked to recruit a Senior Development Chemist to join the team.

Objective
Senior Development Chemists were responsible for working closely with both marketing and customers to identify existing products change requirements and innovative new product opportunities before project managing from concept to product launch. They would share their time between hands on product formulation and project management.

Candidates had to have a Degree in Chemistry and at least 5 years Product Formulation and Project Management experience with a branded non food manufacturer.

Collingwood delivered this assignment through direct Headhunting into Branded Consumer Product Manufacturers based in North West England to recruit this position.
