Marketing Director - FMCG Consultancy
A long standing client and one which we have provided senior level search services to a number of times. They are a global consultancy, specialising in assisting major FMCG brands with procurement and marketing solutions.
Objective:
A major contract was won, therefore the client had an urgent yet confidential requirement to recruit a Marketing Director to spearhead the account. The account won was a global drinks organisation with representation in most countries in the world - the brief was to head-hunt a "big hitter" from a blue-chip with experience of managing a portfolio of market leading brands.
Method:
The challenges of this brief were two-fold. 1 - We needed to attract someone from a large, global, branded organisation to come and work for a smaller business. 2 - The search had to be done confidentially with our client remaining anonymous until the latter stages of the process.
Result:
After engaging in traditional search methods and head-hunting a number of potentials from organisations that matched the search criteria, we then worked very closely with the short-listed candidates and coached them through the process. This resulted with 2 individuals making it through to final stage interview with one being hired for the role. The successful individual was sourced from another global branded drinks organisation.
