UK HR Manager - Optical Lenses

Part of a $1 billion global business, our client is a Brand leading manufacturer of optical lenses sold through Retail Opticians.
Objective
Employing 150 in the UK, a vacancy for a UK HR Manager arose at a time when the company was embarking upon a Culture Change and People Development project. HR was historically a policing and administration function and the Managing Director wanted to recruit a proactive, forward thinking and commercially astute HR professional to drive the project.
Method
As candidates could come from any industry or sector, our consultant ran an Advertising Led Selection campaign to source candidates with the right experience and background for this role. Selected candidates were assessed through competency based interviews and behaviour profiling.
Result
A shortlist of 4 candidates was delivered to our client.
