Our client is a leading UK designer and distributor of corporate wear. Customers are located throughout Europe and the Middle East and range from hotels and restaurants to airlines and manufacturing companies.
The company was in transition from being privately owned to being a division of a European multi-national and needed to add a professional structure to its Supply Chain. A new role was created on the company's board for a Supply Chain Director.
Objective
The brief was to recruit a Supply Chain Director from a corporate wear manufacturer based in the UK. The role was responsible for overhauling the Supply Chain and implementing a new strategy through purchasing, planning, warehousing and distribution aimed at reducing costs whilst increasing product availability.
Method
Collingwood directly Headhunted this role by targeting competitor and associated businesses in the corporate wear industry. We face to face, competency interviewed and behaviourally assessed long listed candidates throughout the UK before presenting a shortlist to our client within 5 weeks.
