A UK Plc, our client is a leading provider of loyalty and promotions programmes to the financial services and consumer products industries. The company has a strong customer portfolio located throughout Europe.
 
Objective
The brief was to recruit a Sales Manager to re-inject life into its well established Sales Promotions Division that had begun to flat line. This division had historically been operated by an outbound telesales team but the new CEO decided that external sales and business development was critical to its profitable growth.
 
A new role was created for a Sales Manager to manage the telesales team whilst acting as the external new Business Development Manager. As the client wanted quick results the brief was to identify individuals from the sales promotions market who were already located in North West England and who had a proven record of hunting.
 
Method
Collingwood directly Headhunted this role by targeting competitor and associated businesses. We face to face, competency interviewed long listed candidates throughout the UK before presenting a shortlist to our client within 5 weeks.
 
Result
A candidate was recruited who exactly matched the specified brief.
