Technical Document Controller – Rail Operator
Our client has approximately 1,200 staff and operates 66 stations including 4 city centre underground stations giving easy access to work, shopping and leisure. Running almost 800 trains every day, they are an urban network of vital importance to the transport infrastructure of Liverpool and the region.
Objective
As part of a large on-going project, they had the requirement to bring someone in to the organisation in the capacity of Technical Document Controller. The role required a mixed skill set and vast, long-term knowledge and experience from within the industry.
Method
With a limited number of companies in the North West, Collingwood focused on researching all 'rolling stock' and 'infrastructure' rail organisations where this talent may have existed. We then combined headhunting with confidential advertising to attract the right calibre of candidate.
Result
An individual was presented to the client that met all technical requirements.
