Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of Single Use Ophthalmic Surgical Instruments and Diagnostic Equipment. Having undergone a Management Buyout, the company was driving a rapid growth strategy which included setting up direct sales offices in key markets globally. One such market was the UK which was being sold to via a long term distribution agreement.
 
Objective
To establish a UK Sales team the first appointment was that of a UK Sales Manager capable of devising and implementing a direct sales strategy. The role needed someone with a proven track record of Business Development and Key Account Management within the Surgical Ophthamology Sector. A solid network of Key Opinion Leaders and renowned Surgeons was also essential.

Result
