A Venture Capital backed business, our client had a long history of leading a sector with complex Meter Dose Inhaler components. End customers included the likes of GSK and Sanofi Aventis. As part of the VC's growth plans they created a new role for a Business Development Director.
 
Objective
Whilst the company had a foothold in the UK market it wanted to dominate its global market place and gave the BD Director a blank canvas to drive new business. Candidates needed to have New Business Acquisition experience with a competitor and therefore a solid network of relevant contacts in pharmaceutical packaging.
 
Method
Collingwood directly Headhunted this role by targeting our client's competitors throughout Europe.
 
Result
We presented a very strong candidate shortlist of 4 from which a candidate was recruited who matched the brief exactly.
