Our client, a manufacturer of Ophthalmic Surgical Instruments was recently acquired by a globally renowned market leader. The company had been an owner managed entity and the new owners wanted it to become a wholly owned subsidiary with its own senior management team.
Objective
The company was focused on the export market and created a role for a Managing Director to drive the growth of the company.
Method
Candidates had to have experience of Sales, Marketing and Operations in the client's market sector. With only a handful of companies in this sector our consultant used headhunting to identify and attract relevant candidates.
Result
A high calibre candidate shortlist of 4 was presented and two selected for final interview.
