Regional Clinical Governance Lead x 2, Quality and Governance Directorate
An independent primary care business, our client wanted to replace 2 Regional Clinical Governance Leads who had both recently been promoted within the quality directorate.
Objective
The client wanted 2 individuals specifically from a primary care background who had proven experience working closely with GPs. Each candidate would be responsible for a region of business units so therefore would need the skills to set the vision and determine the clinical objectives for each business unit, develop and implement a clinical risk strategy, oversee service quality reviews across all service streams and ultimately improve the overall patient experience in a safe environment. In respect of the person they wanted an individual who understood all CQC clinical governance and risk policies, was extremely passionate about improving patient safety and would work well with Business Directors and GPs.Method
Collingwood combined Headhunting into both public and independent primary care providers with an online Recruitment Advertising Campaign. Selected candidates were assessed via face to face competency based interviews.
A high quality candidate shortlist of 5 was presented and two successful appointments made.
