Sales Manager positions in Europe - Furniture
Our client is a Chinese manufacturer, they are a vertically set-up manufacturer of furniture for the world market with 5000 employees and 3 million square feet of production spaces in 100 factories. They undertake designs, engineering, sample making, production set up and worldwide marketing. The products are developed for different countries which meet the requirements and tastes of the local markets.
Objective
They sell to the top 5 retailers within USA, Australia, Italy and the Far East. It is now in their strategy to increase their presence in Europe by recruiting local professionals to manage the sales in each country. They were looking for individuals that would manage and develop new business directly with the major retail chains and specialist independent retailers, with good experience of furniture sales and an understanding of the retail network.
Method
Collingwood provided its Headhunting expertise to identify candidates across the different countries.
Result
Collingwood travelled to meet with candidates face to face to fully interview before presenting a fully qualified shortlist of candidates to the client. Successful appointments have been made for 4 countries and we continue to work with our client on other assignments.
