Brand Sales Manager, Non Food Consumer Products
An autonomous £30 million subsidiary of a $6 billion US parent, our client is a well established manufacturer of retailer brand and tertiary household chemical products. Products include paints, polish, de-icer, shampoos, shower gels, air fresheners and bulk disinfectants etc.
Objective
The business was a specialist in Own Label Consumer products and having acquired a £6 million portfolio of branded consumer products they needed an experienced Brand Sales Manager to drive sales. The role was responsible for working closely with the new Marketing Manager to assess the portfolio versus the market and customer demands before rationalising, re-defining, re-packaging and re-launching it. The role was also responsible for deciding upon and executing a route to market. Candidates had to have extensive experience in Tertiary Branded Product sales within an SME environment.
Method
Collingwood combined Headhunting into Non Food Consumer Branded Product companies with an Online Recruitment Advertising Campaign. All selected underwent a thorough competency based interview.
Result
A shortlist of 4 candidates was presented with one being successfully recruited.
