Marketing Manager - Branded and Own Label Consumer Products

Business Partner
An autonomous £30 million subsidiary of a $multi-billion US parent, our client is a well established manufacturer of retailer brand and tertiary household chemical products. Products include paints, polish, de-icer, shampoos, shower gels, air fresheners and bulk disinfectants etc.

Objective
Having just acquired a portfolio of branded consumer products and having never had a marketing resource, our client created a new role for a Marketing Manager to implement a branded product strategy into the company.

Method
Candidates had to have a minimum of 5 years experience in brand management with consumer products. Our consultant used internet advertising to attract relevant candidates. All selected underwent a thorough competency based interview.

Result
A shortlist of 3 candidates was presented with one being successfully recruited.
