Collingwood Completes Golf Marathon for Claire House raising over £800
It was decided that Chris and Daniel would complete a Golf Marathon, walking four 18 hole rounds of golf in one day (over 35km). Playing alongside the professional from Eaton Golf Club, Bill Tye, they teed off at 6am starting with two rounds at Portal Championship, Tarporley, followed by two rounds in the afternoon at Eaton Golf Club, Chester.
Finishing every hole they played, the group managed to finish each round in less than three hours, with their scoring surprisingly improving as the day went on. With the soaking by the torrential rain in the morning and sunburn received in the afternoon, the Collingwood team were well and tgryuly done by the time they finished at 7pm.
Through the support of Collingwood's business partners, friends and members of Eaton Golf Club, Collingwood managed to raise over £800 for Claire House.

Claire House is a Children's Hospice on The Wirral and needs support in order to help families in the North West who are affected by children with life threatening or life limiting conditions.
